The Technology

Cobra Hydro products Oxi-8, Oxi-8 plus, Odagon Atom & Pongon are made of complex compounds of syntheses products, natural extracts from plants, leaves, trees, flowers and other natural ingredients, These neutralisers have the ability to neutralise odours and gas emissions they are non toxic and not harmful to the environment.

Depending on the usage, these different compounds are mixed to other carrier products. Surfactants are sometimes added for water solubility.


Reactive Mechanism

Unlike traditional odour control systems relying on masking agents, odour neutralisation uses a reactive mechanism based mainly on the chemical destruction of odours. Selected ingredients like natural extracts and syntheses products give a large number of substances that can react with malodours and gases.

Neutralisation may be obtained in many ways:

Construction

Causes the malodorous gas to react chemically with another substance to form a third odourless product.


Combination

A method much like construction, but leaves a product with a pleasant smell rather than no scent at all.


Counteraction

Where an ‘opposing’ substance is added to a malodorous substance and interferes to neutralise it.


Adsorption or Absorption

Causes the gas to ‘stick’ to the neutralising agent or be ‘swallowed’ by it followed by biodegradation. Our unique compounds use a combination of these methods.
